AN UNDESIGNER MIND BEYOND THE DESIGN

FABIOPANZERI™ is not a brand. It is my imprint—a living system where disciplines collide, merge, and continuously evolve. It is the place where minimalism encounters distortion, where simplicity is not the absence of content but its very essence. Each project becomes a field of tension between function and emotion, machine and hand, precision and instinct.
This is not about products. It is about code—rewritten, remixed, redefined. FABIOPANZERI™ is my way of mapping the unknown.
A frontier, not a formula.

AN UNDESIGNER MIND BEYOND THE DESIGN

Fabio Panzeri’s boutique project stands as a refined exercise in contemporary retail architecture, where the interplay of materials, light, and spatial composition becomes the silent protagonist of the shopping experience. Working alongside expert technicians, Panzeri has shaped a series of spaces that transcend mere function, expressing a vision where minimalism is not austerity but a sophisticated dialogue between substance and perception.

Materiality: Lucidity, Opacity, and Contrast
The boutiques are conceived as immersive environments where the tactile and visual qualities of materials are foregrounded. The use of marble—iconic for its veining and reflective properties—serves as a visual anchor, lending the spaces an immediate sense of opulence and exclusivity. Its surfaces, alternately polished and honed, amplify both natural and artificial light, creating dynamic reflections that shift with the movement of visitors and the play of spotlights. Alongside marble, raw stones and matte, brushed metals introduce a counterpoint of opacity, grounding the luminous elements and adding depth to the material palette. Mirrored inserts and metallic finishes—sometimes glossy, sometimes satin—further enrich the sensory experience, multiplying perspectives and subtly expanding the perceived volume of the boutiques.

Chromatic Identity: Non-Colors and Shadow Play
Panzeri’s chromatic approach is resolutely understated: the boutiques are defined by a spectrum of “non-colors”—fragmented greys, deep blues, and neutral tones that serve as a sophisticated backdrop for the displayed objects. The careful use of cold, directional lighting sculpts shadows across textured surfaces, accentuating the irregularities of stone and the crisp edges of metal. These shadows, cast by strategically positioned spotlights, animate the space and break up the monochrome palette, while deep blue accents come alive through the interplay of light and reflection, lending the environment a subtle vibrancy without ever overwhelming the eye.

Spatial Composition: Framing and Flow
The spatial arrangement is intentionally minimalist, with open volumes and carefully curated sightlines that create a solid yet understated frame for the merchandise. Display elements are integrated into the architecture, allowing garments and avant-garde accessories to “breathe” within the space, echoing the gallery-like atmospheres of the world’s most innovative boutiques. The alternation of full and empty, light and shadow, lucidity and opacity, constructs a rhythm that guides visitors through the environment, encouraging contemplation and discovery.

Vision Beyond Convention
Panzeri’s multidisciplinary sensibility is evident in every detail: the boutiques are not only commercial spaces but also platforms for material experimentation and architectural storytelling. The combination of noble stones, raw and refined metals, and the nuanced manipulation of light results in a setting where elegance is never ostentatious, but always present—an environment that elevates both the products and the act of shopping itself.
In conclusion, this project is a testament to how retail design can transcend convention, offering a multisensory, immersive experience that embodies both technical mastery and poetic vision.

FABIO PANZERI - freestyle skydiving suit

The freestyle skydiving suit designed under Fabio Panzeri’s multidisciplinary vision merges avant-garde aesthetics with cutting-edge technical materials, redefining conventional sportswear boundaries. Here’s an overview of its key elements:
Technical Materials and Experimental Innovations
Bunico NP: A double-layered, 4-way elastic non-membrane fabric developed for tunnel suits, offering breathability and durability while allowing full freedom of movement.
Brunico WX: A synthetic rubber membrane-grid material used for elastic components, combining stretch (up to 220%) with structural integrity.
Photochromic Panels: Experimental elements inspired by Panzeri’s sustainable urban design projects, adapting colours to UV exposure for dynamic visual effects.
Cordura Hybrid: Reinforced 1000D nylon zones at abrasion-prone areas (knees, elbows) paired with superlight Lycra for minimal drag.

Chromatic Identity and Design Language

The suit features:
•Prismatic Gradients: Geometric patterns inspired by automotive aerodynamics, using sublimation printing on 4-ply Taslan fabric.
•Metallic Accents: Laser-cut aluminum detailing at seams, echoing Panzeri’s architectural influences in luxury fashion.
•Leopard Print Motifs: Recontextualized through glitch-art digital manipulation, subverting traditional sportswear aesthetics.
Multidisciplinary Vision Integration
Panzeri’s approach transcends functional design:
1.Genderless Silhouettes: As seen in Revolver Requeen’s no-gender philosophy, the suit uses anatomical mapping to eliminate binary sizing.
2.Automotive Fusion: Wind tunnel-derived seam placements mimic sports car airflow dynamics, enhancing aerodynamic efficiency.
3.Sustainable Tech: Recycled nylon blends and solar-responsive dyes extend Panzeri’s eco-innovation principles from urban infrastructure projects.
The suit’s articulated joint system employs Brunico NP’s 600% stretch capacity, while its YKK Windproof Zipper integrates seamlessly into the geometric print. This synthesis of experimental materials, disruptive colour theory, and cross-industry design thinking embodies Panzeri’s ethos of “creative collisions”, positioning the suit as both high-performance gear and wearable art.
FABIO PANZERI - PROJECT ONE PIECE

Turning eyewear projects into a bold creative exploration, redefining design’s boundaries with curiosity and vision. Merging fashion and automotive, he crafts a dialogue between materials, structures, and technology, where future and tradition align seamlessly. The result is a timeless, concept that transcends convention, proving design’s power when freed from limits.

KTM - Redefines E-Bike Performance Ultra-Lightweight Concept

KTM unveils an ultra-light electric bicycle, engineered from advanced composites for maximum strength and minimal weight. Inspired by its motorsport DNA, the design merges aerodynamics, seamless connectivity, and a high-performance electric drivetrain. A bold vision of e-mobility where innovation meets pure speed.

DECONSTRUCTING STYLE: AN EXPERIMENTAL FUSION OF CONTRASTS

This project begins with a purge. Style is emptied—not layered. Details aren’t hidden—they’re exposed. It’s a rejection of surface, a commitment to transparency, deconstruction, and engineered minimalism. The object remains intact, but its skin is peeled back. Identity doesn’t disappear—it sharpens.

At its core: an impossible fusion. Hublot’s precision collides with Casio’s mass-function. The result—a timepiece that breathes. Mechanics aren’t tucked away—they’re centre stage. Gears, movement, frame—it’s all visible. The case becomes structure, not armour. Luxury meets utility, but neither wins. The tension holds.

The same philosophy bleeds into footwear. The sole is unbuilt—sections removed, hollowed, revealed. Subtraction as structure. Support from voids. What’s left open speaks louder than what’s added.

This isn’t design as adornment. It’s exposure. What you strip away becomes the story.

Fabio Panzeri beyond the Design exploring innovative solutions.

An ambitious project focused on sustainability: fully autonomous multimedia urban structures powered by solar energy. Transparent photochromic panels adapt to the surrounding atmosphere, creating comfortable zones in spaces where commuters wait for public transportation. These areas are transformed into hubs of accessible information, serving as both transit guides and sources for local itineraries of interest. This project highlights a multidisciplinary vision, driven by the curiosity to tackle challenges well outside my usual field, where I find myself comfortable exploring innovative solutions.
